Japan PS3 Resident Evil 5 Sales 4:1 Over the Xbox 360

According to Playstation Universe, the PS3 is having it’s way in Japan over the competition with the sales of RESIDENT EVIL 5.
PSU writes;
Hundreds of Japanese gamers lined up overnight across the region yesterday for the release of Capcom’s hotly anticipated Resident Evil 5. Thanks to some quick blogging over in the Land of the Rising Sun, we can also reveal which version of the action horror sequel Japanese punters are favouring.
Surprisingly enough, despite having sold roughly 300 percent more consoles in the region, the PlayStation 3 version of Resident Evil 5 is reportedly outselling the Xbox 360 version by more than 400 percent in total.

[360] Resident Evil 5 (Capcom) - 56k
Though this may not be too surprising from those who realize the unbalance in install base, the percentage difference in sales is significantly higher than expected. Hopefully Capcom takes notice of this and realizes the potential for profit is there for future titles.
