Playstation ThEvolution: New Talk Radio Show
Playstation ThEvolution is excited to announce that now we will be hosting our new “ThEvolution Talk Radio Show” every Saturday at 1pm Arizona/Time. This new radio show will be hosted by our very own R2_Deuce and co-hosted by Shadowolf. The show will be aimed at the ever evolving nature of the video game industry, gaming updates, previews and industry insider tidbits.
In addition, the new show will give our gaming listeners the opportunity to call in at anytime while the show is live and shoot us their many questions and concerns on the gaming front. The number to call while the show is live will be (347)945-5626. Please remember that when you call in you will be on the air, so we ask that everyone does their best to refrain from any foul language.
We recently hosted our first show which was unannounced in order to test and evaluate however, regardless of it being a test run we wanted to give you all a chance to listen to the show. Below is the show we tested where we discussed our Top 5 Most Anticipated Games Of 2009. Again it is just a test and as you listen you may notice that our intro music played too long and we also were unable to touch on all of our points due to a time crunch. Nevertheless, we now have the majority of our bugs out of the way and the show can only get better so we do look forward to speaking with you all on our next show.

Couple of tips to help with keeping time and organizing show(take or leave as needed):
- Get large, stopwatch (preferably clock with bright LCD) for time management.
- Time segments and leave room for subjective commentary.
For example, when reviewing a game you speak objectively (release dates, general story content, aspects of multiplayer, etc.) for 3 minutes, then provide one subjective analysis for 2 minutes the other person’s for 2 minutes, then leave 2 for rebuttals and commentary.
- The fewer the segments the better. No more than 3 for every 30 min. This allows more time to debate, the best part of any podcast/ radio show.
- Don’t be an a**hole. Be a jacka**. Big difference.
Then again, I may have no idea what I’m talking about…
