Dark Void Delayed Until 2010
Another game bites the dust!! Capcom has delayed the release of sci-fi action romp Dark Void until early 2010. With the christmas season just around the corner, Capcom decided to play it safe. It will be released during “Capcom’s fourth financial quarter”; which means April of 2010.
“The move will be great for the game and for gamers,” said Capcom community boss, Chris Kramer. “Less competition in the market (curse you, Halo!), more time for polish.
Another 2010 release?! Here is a word of advice to developers/publishers, “Make good games and you won’t have to worry about delaying it”.
BRAID: Coming To PSN Confirmed
Despite the great offering of titles available today on the Playstation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade has had the pleasure of exclusively offering what many have considered the downloadable game of 2008 in the form of BRAID. BRAID is a platform based puzzle game with a unique style that provides an engaging and thought provoking experience. Last year it was rumored that BRAID would be making it’s way over to the Playstation Network, however, nothing has materialized.
Today according to IGN’s recent update, it looks like this will finally become a reality.
“IGN just received word from a Hothead Games representative confirming the North American and European release of Braid for PSN. The spokesperson could not, however, comment on when the game will be released, but expect to hear more news in the coming months.”

Sony Game Division Posting Q1 Losses
Sony’s Playstation or networked products which consists of Vaio computers, Playstation consoles (PS3, PSP) and the Walkman collectively posted a 39.7 billion yen loss.
Despite the great PS3 exclusives and the PSP games offered so far this year Sony has had some significant losses as of lately. Sony reportedly sold 1.1 million PlayStation 3 consoles and 1.3 million PSP’s during the first quarter which reflects a 31 percent and 65 percent decline from a year earlier. This could be attributed to the economical strain taking place on many fronts, nevertheless Sony could be pricing themselves too far ahead of today’s savy and money tight consumer.
Sony’s total net loss was 37. 1 billion yen for the first quarter of 2009 which ended June 30th. Last year during the same time Sony saw a 35 billion yen profit. Peaks and valleys are to be expected and no a PS3 price drop is not the only remedy but maybe a good start.
Drakes Next Adventure Will Not Require An Install
A typo coming by way of the new Uncharted 2 boxart revealing a 1.7gb install has just been cleared up by Naughty Dog co-president Christopher Balestra. According to VG24, the Naughty Dog co-president just sent out a tweet to clear up any confusion.
“Uncharted 2 does not require any install.”
It is always good to have the air cleared of any confusion, however, as good as this game is looking should it really matter if it required a 1.7gb install? To some we guess it would, we have to stop being so picky people, if 1.7gb is an issue we need to check our motives.

FAT PRINCESS: Arriving On PSN July 30th
It’s official, the cute little princess with a huge appetite known as FAT PRINCESS will be dropping this Thursday on the Playstation Network for $14.99. Also as mentioned by the Playstation blog, FAT PRINCESS will see a worldwide launch releasing in North America, Europe and Asia.
Also, Playstation blog recently sat down with Titan Studio developing reps to get some questions answered on their upcoming PSN exclusive.
MODERN WARFARE 2 Amazing New Multiplayer Gameplay Footage
DEAD SPACE 2 & 3 In The Works?
Kotaku writes;
The report states “EA launched [Dead Space] in 2008 and is working on the second and third installments”. Sounds clear-cut, but this being Variety (specifically, not Variety’s games blog), you can’t take that for granted. It may be a movie writer getting their wires crossed, and one of those two games is Dead Space: Extraction for the Wii.
As avid fans of DEAD SPACE we hope this writer knows something we don’t as DEAD SPACE was the biggest sleeper hit of 2008. We look forward to hearing more about this as a DEAD SPACE sequel would more than likely arrive in 2010.
NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA 2 Now With Co-op Only On PS3
Unlike the Xbox 360 version of Ninja Gaiden 2, which offered a decent hack & slash experience, Team NINJA appears has stepped up the experience on the PS3 by a long shot. Not only are there obvious graphical enhancements over the Xbox 360 version, more importantly Team NINJA has now incorporated cooperative play to the mix and over 30 mission types.
According to the Playstation.blog;
The rule is simple: if one of the two players dies, it’s game over. Team up with your partner to execute an Ultimate Ninpo attack, where players, if timed right, can combine their Ninpo attacks for superior destructible power against the enemies. A warning will go off when your partner is low on health, so get closer and rescue them using the Critical Save command.
If you decide not to team up with another fellow Sigma 2 player, you can play alone, using an AI-controlled character. Partner up with a friend or other super ninjas around the world and take on the toughest challenges.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will be arriving September 29th on the PS3 and based on the many new features and upgrades, it looks like PS3 users will be recieving a title previously on the Xbox 360 that could probably be considered an exclusive from the looks of it.
