UNCHARTED 2: Official Box Art & Release Date Revealed
Sony has just allowed us to exhale as UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves has finally received a release date of October 13th. Also the unveiling of the official UNCHARTED 2 box art is shown above displaying Drake hanging for dear life, but of course this is all in a days work.
In addition there are added pre-order features to mix up the experience, unfortunately as Kotaku points out, these added features are only playable depending on where you pre-order from. Yes, the Pre-Order Bribe is in full effect and not only from GAMESTOP. What happened to the days when gamers were able to get the full experience of what they paid for. Well enough of my sore ranting, regardless, UNCHARTED 2 is on the way and that is extremely exciting. As the big winner of E3 09, UNCHARTED 2 is highly anticipated and expected to offer an incredible single player campaign along with a robust multiplayer and cooperative mode.
October really cannot get here fast enough.

No doubt! I’m excited to see a release date for UNCHARTED 2. Now Sony needs to get MAG on retail shelves as well this year. I’m thinking sometime in September to cushion the blow of HALO 3: ODST which also drops in September. I know this may sound crazy but I think MAG could steal some thunder from HALO 3: ODST in September. Yes, I know the HALO franchise is amazing, and yes I’ll be picking it up at launch but I would also grab MAG if available during the same time. Based on our E3 experience with both titles I believe MAG might have more to offer. Regardless, Sony needs to get MAG out in 2009 and definitely before MW2.
