PS2 Titles That Should Come To Blu-ray In 720p HD Format
With the official announcement of GOD OF WAR and GOD OF WAR 2 coming to the blu-ray format for the PS3 running 60fps, we started thinking about other amazing PS2 titles that should be realized in 720p HD form receiving the GOD OF WAR treatment. Of course there are thousands of great PS2 titles to choose from so we decided to make our list rather short yet meaty with some of the PS2’s greatest hits.

Castlevania: Lament of Innocence was a great title. There are truly a wealth of PS2 titles that could be re-visited in 720p HD format.

what about the jak and daxter trilogy? (not jak x, oh no!) ratchet and clank trilogy (again not gladiator), sly copper trilogy. apart from those i dont agree with resident evil 4,
oh and another one… Okami!!!! if not a sequel definatley a revamp

Twisted Metal? Are you sure dude? There is one coming in the near future, and all the Twisted metals are all the same!
The one game that MUST come in Bluray is the Resident Evil Outbreak series! That would be a kickass initiative!

Hell, there should be more bundled with others. Ico and Shadow of the Colossus together. Twisted Metal: Black and Head On. Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. Devil May Cry 1 and 3. Sould Reaver 1 and 2, and so on

Cold Fear? Out of all the titles listed, that’s probably the only one I would disagree on. There are far more better titles to revamp for 720HD Blu-ray.

Prince of Persia Trilogy (good competition to GOW series)
Jak and Daxter Trilogy (is Jak X any good?)
Ratchet and Clank Trilogy (what about Gladiator?)
Grand Theft Auto Trilogy (GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas)
Otherwise you got the rest of the list all sorted!

i think they should just do sets like they did with god of war
so maybe kingdom hearts 1 and 2 to come out with kingdom hearts birth by sleep
and metal gear solids coming out with the psp release
and a few of the main final fantasy titles coming out with the new final fantasy
and some resident evil games coming out with the resident evil psp release
oh and dont forget ratchet anc clank especially gladiator they should come out with a crack in time
grand theft auto games 3,vice city ,san andreas to come out with the gay tony dlc but for ps3 to kinda say (you can have your dlc we have 3 full games that are likley MUCH BETTER HAHAHAHA)

I like your idea to have Sony follow suit with GOD OF WAR treatment. So whenever an original PS2 franchise is introduced on the PS3 or PSP as a sequel or whatever, introduce the original PS2 version in 720p HD on blu-ray. Those would be amazing updates. Hopefully Sony is listening

i completly freaked out when i found out GOW1 and 2 are being remade, im so excited i hope its out this year, it almost makes up for quantum theroy, heavy rain and mag being set back……… ok it doesn’t but still.
but i doubt they will do this for many games, it would cost them allot of money and it would be quite time consuming, im thinking this is a one off thing.
i hope im wrong but to make it financially viable for sony they would have to charge quite a bit for them, seeing i can pick up ps2 games for a fiver, yea there redone in their HD glory but depending on what they cost i cant see this becoming a popular/regular thing.
prove me wrong sony i would kill for a twisted metal HD remake, and a O RATCHET AND CLANK 3 UP YOUR ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!!
thats my favorite of the series by far.

I want the Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistance edition with online play the two original Metal Gears and loads of different stuff all on one disc where the original was on 3.
