Wow is definitely in order as Vgchartz has revealed that the preliminary data of copies sold on day one for Uncharted 2 has reached 300,000 units. The update also reveals that Uncarted 2 is on pace to potentially register 1 million units sold in the first week, making it the 3rd fastest selling title on the PS3 in the U.S.

With the original Uncharted registering 135,000 units sold in it’s first week, Uncharted 2 is definitely benefitting from the momentum of the much needed PS3 price drop.

One only has to experience Uncharted 2 to understand why it has received so much well deserved fanfare. From the moment you are holding on for dear life underneath a runaway train to the spine tingling excitement of surviving a collapsing bridge mixed with an exasperating supply of Michael Bay explosions and lets not forget the top-notch voice acting which is spot on according to moments throughout and eventually you find yourself questioning every other game you’ve experienced this generation.

Overall Uncharted 2 sales throughout the holidays should be quiet impressive to say the least.
