It looks like gamers will have to wait until the game officially launches before they will be able to get their eager hands on the upcoming sequel to the 2007 smash hit Assassin’s Creed.

Assassin’s Creed 2 which is scheduled for launch November 17 is undoubtedly one of the biggest releases this year and according to Connected Console, Ubisoft is sticking with their past practices by not releasing a demo before the game is released. A definite bummer for gamers no doubt, but this is an approach Ubisoft appear comfortable with. 

With blockbuster hits like Modern Warfare 2 releasing November 10, God Of War Collection releasing November 17 along with the new Xbox 360 exclusive Left 4 Dead 2 also releasing November 17, you would think safety measures would be put in place in the form of an Assassin’s Creed 2 demo just to wet the appetites of gamers who never experienced the first game. The new God Of War III demo which is available will certainly encourage gamers to re-invest in the upcoming God Of War Collection (God of War & God of War II) running in 720p HD on one blu-ray disc. Also the Left 4 Dead 2 demo which is currently available will definitely grab the attention of new gamers to the series. 

There is no doubt in our minds that Assassin’s Creed 2 which is a multiplatform title will experience instant success however, with some stiff competition releasing on the same day and within the same week, you would think Ubisoft would try to take advantage of evey opportunity.
