Reading an article from the cool rockstar writers at Kotaku about a possible console shift in favor of the PS3 for two upcoming blockbuster sequels seemed quite interesting to say the least.

Kotaku writes;

Gamasutra’s report on that OTX Gameplan Insight research shows that, for at least two titles, Xbox 360 owners are planning to invest in the PS3 versions of holiday sequels more so than the other way around. Both Assassin’s Creed II and Modern Warfare 2 are seeing a shift in platform choice that favors the PS3, according to OTX. - KOTAKU

Even though this research doesn’t go into detail on why Xbox 360 owners will choose to defect over to the darkside for AC2 and MW2, we can only speculate that the recent price drop could have something to do with it.
