Not that this should come as a major surprise to any well-informed gamer however, the Call Of Duty franchise has officially sold over $3 billion worth of titles according to Activision. With the recent gargantuan success of Modern Warfare 2 which surpassed $550 Million in sales in it’s first five days on the market, $3 billion should not be hard to believe.

The Call Of Duty franchise has become the premiere shooter franchise and does not seem to be stopping it’s unrivaled momentum anytime soon.
