Final Fantasy XIII will finally be making it’s debut exclusively on the PS3 in Japan this Friday and as Edge has reported, Square Enix is definitely gearing up to meet the demand.

In order to keep eager fans supplied with the hottest and latest RPG from the Final Fantasy series, Square Enix has already shipped one million copies of Final Fantasy XIII to retailers ahead of the games launch date. Also, in order to keep some poor souls without a copy of the game away from resorting to drastic measures two additional shipments of 150,000 copies are already scheduled for shipping the following week.

As we mentioned Final Fantasy XIII will be exclusive to the PS3 in Japan however, the title will also be hitting U.S. shores March 9 for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
