The Playstation 3 has definitely had an uphill battle since it’s 2006 debut. Coming to the market at an insane price point, offering an unfamiliar and extremely difficult developing architecture, and introducing an unproven format known as blu-ray, Sony took the kind of chances that an average company would have folded under. Some say arrogance was the motivating factor behind Sonys bold move with the PS3 while others applaud Sony and consider the PS3 forward-thinking genius.

Today, competitively priced at $299 the PS3 offers arguably the best looking and performing games on the market and yes blu-ray is now a household name among millions of consumers worldwide. We are also seeing the much needed benefits of the blu-ray format for many of today’s more robust titles.

Like in the days of the Playstation 2 when Sony offered a plethora of gaming hits, we are now seeing the PS3 following in those footsteps. The PS3 has an amazing list of exclusive titles, some of which did not make our top 12 PS3 exclusive list, nevertheless, we still managed to compile our list of today’s hottest PS3 exclusives.
