BATTLEFIELD: Bad Company 2 “MAP PACK” Trailer
In the Day 1 Map Pack trailer get a preview of two brand new maps available to download at launch.
With dense snow-covered forest restricting vehicle use Nelson Bay will put your infantry combat skills to the test via the Rush game mode whilst Laguna Alta features the classic Conquest mode in a challenging woodland environment where effective use of ATV and infantry-fighting-vehicles will be the key to military supremacy.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 launches on March 2nd in North America, March 4th in Europe.
GOD OF WAR III: Premiere Blowout Footage From Gametrailers
Forget what you think you know about high-end graphical fidelity. In fact, do yourself a favor and forget about the experience you may have had with the God Of War III E3 demo, it does not scratch the surface of what you will see in this latest episode of GTTV with Geoff Keighley as they head into Santa Monica Studios to bring us some never-before-seen footage of God Of War III.
Like myself, you will probably hear this little voice in your head saying “This is CG footage, when are they going to show some real gameplay?” Please understand that you are not alone, however everything you see in this video is 100% real gameplay. I personally did not believe we would get to this level of visual gameplay during this generation of consoles and yet I sit here still trying to take it all in as a reality.
Be sure to watch the complete episode as the God Of War III footage continues throughout the entire video. There will be other games announced but do yourself a favor continue watching, it gets better and better.
Waiting until March 16th is officially torture!
LOST PLANET 2: Pre-Order Incentives For New Map Packs

Fans who pre-order Lost Planet 2 at GameStop locations in North America will be able to download two new maps where they can engage in battle during the 16-player multiplayer versus modes of Lost Planet 2. Originally announced as a GameStop exclusive, the playable skin of Resident Evil 5’s Albert Wesker and the powerful Magnum Revolver weapon received such massive demand, Capcom decided to give them to everyone who purchased the game.
The new map packs include:
Helix
The underwater NEVEC mining facility houses several layers and twisted corridors. Swim between the layers, or dive to the bottom to change your point of attack. Aqua Catapults can launch you to the upper levels in a hurry, and you must learn every corner and get the upper hand on your enemies.
Back to the Island
The shady atoll of Island 902 is broken into wide open spaces and compact interiors. Choose your battlefield from the beaches to the battered carrier, or explore a new dimension in the underwater battle. Control the bridge to dominate the map, but beware attacks from all sides.
Splitscreen
After months of speculation, the development team that brought localized splitscreen gameplay to Resident Evil 5 has confirmed that they will be doing it again. With the introduction of two-player splitscreen gameplay to Lost Planet 2, gamers can join the battle for control of the precious thermal energy on E.D.N III alongside a friend from the same living room.

ALPHA PROTOCOL Release Date Announced

SEGA Europe Ltd. are proud to announce that Obsidian Entertainment’s long awaited Alpha Protocol is hitting store shelves this summer. The espionage game, a fiercely original take on the role playing game genre, will launch in Europe on May 28th and June 1st in the U.S. for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC Games For Windows.
“Alpha Protocol offers a new take on the RPG genre giving players the chance to immerse themselves in the world of modern day espionage,” said Gary Knight, European Marketing Director of SEGA Europe. “Being the first ever RPG in this setting, Obsidian have written a truly immersive storyline with a cast of characters everyone will remember.”
With a plot torn from today’s headlines and more twists than a blockbuster movie, Alpha Protocol brings a new level of modern day realism to the world of RPGs. Tasked with uncovering the perpetrators behind a tragic missile attack on a passenger jetliner, players dive into a story rich with characters and locations to discover an international arms-dealing conspiracy. Through their actions and choices, players direct the outcome of the game as they ultimately decide who to befriend, trust or kill.
In Alpha Protocol, players assume the role of rookie spy Michael Thorton and are given unprecedented control over the development of his abilities and interactions with other characters. Customizable character skill-sets, attributes and weapons all play an important role in allowing gamers to tailor Thorton to their play-style.
HEAVY RAIN Is Now Available: How Are Gamers Reacting?
LAST REBELLION Hits Retailers Nationwide!

Another PS3 exclusive has been unleashed as NIS America announced today that “Last Rebellion” for the PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainment System has been shipped to North American retail stores. A joint project between Nippon Ichi Software and HitMaker, Last Rebellion is an RPG with action elements. Players can roam around the world field and make action movements like in an action game, but once you enter battle you engage the enemy using a turn-based system.
During battle, different body parts can be targeted to disable the enemy. For instance, attacks to the legs will slow them down, while blows to the arms will weaken their attacks. By strategically striking key areas of the body, players can strip the enemy of their ability to fight.
Setting
There are 2 main characters in Last Rebellion, Nine (male) and Aisha (female). Nine is a Blade, whose specialty is physical attacks, and Aisha is a Sealer, who uses magic spells to attack & seal enemies. The player can switch back and forth between the two during the battle. Since Nine and Aisha share a single, the player must strategically choose which character to execute their attacks first. Because of this, Last Rebellion is no ordinary RPG with another mindless battle system. The player must be aware of which enemies they are fighting against, and use their experience and strategy throughout the game.
- Tactical battle system with interchangeable main characters
- Attractive, visual characters with lots of personality
- Gorgeous watercolor-like character art and event scenes
- A story of revenge featuring a dark anti-hero
